Generations at Canyon Ridge offers two types of outpatient treatment programs designed to meet a variety of mental health needs.
Our partial hospitalization program is designed around the specific behavioral health needs of each patient using evidence-based treatment methods and therapy sessions.
This slightly less structured level of care allows for patients to receive many of the same treatments and therapies that a patient would receive in residential care with the added benefit of returning home at night.
PHP is a great way to step-down from residential treatment and readjust to slightly less structure, as well as a great way to enter treatment or return to treatment for those with familial or community responsibilities.
Our intensive outpatient program is designed around the specific needs of each patient using evidence-based treatment methods and therapy sessions. An intensive outpatient program is a part-time day program, in which patients attend treatment for a few hours a day for a few days per week.
This less structured level of care allows for patients to receive much needed mental health treatment while allowing the maximum freedom to return home and attend to familial or community responsibilities.
An IOP is great as a step down from residential or PHP treatment, as well as a great stepping stone into treatment for the first time or for those returning to treatment.
Mental health issues just don’t disappear over time, and studies show that patients who remain in the Continuum of Care are less likely to relapse. The Continuum of Care, which includes the cycle between inpatient and outpatient treatment, means that patients stay connected to treatment, treatment providers and a support system for longer, resulting in more positive outcomes.
Canyon Ridge Hospital offers multiple levels of care to keep each patient in the Continuum of Care longer and work towards better results.
