Detox Treatment for Adults

At Canyon Ridge Hospital, detox services are part of comprehensive dual-diagnosis treatment supporting adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs.

Inpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Program

Inpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment

At Canyon Ridge, we realize the thought of going through detoxification can be scary, but we are here to walk with you through the entire process. You will not be alone. Through our compassionate and attentive staff, we provide a secure and therapeutic environment for detox.

Medically managed detox from alcohol and other substances is part of our crisis stabilization treatment. For many who are chemically dependent, they can’t truly focus on the treatment process until they have been stabilized. At that point, they are ready to begin their restorative journey toward recovery.

Co-occurring Disorders

Mental health issues can be complex, and often people experience more than one at a time. These co-occurring disorders can involve substance use, a mental health issue, multiple mental health issues or a combination of other disorders.

Our multidisciplinary approach treats individuals with both substance use disorders and mental disorders. Each patient has their own unique treatment plan dependent on their individual needs, circumstances and relationship dynamics among other factors. However, many of the programs share key components such as group therapy, individual therapy and process groups.

We treat a variety of co-occurring disorders including but not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Substance abuse
  • Suicidal ideation

Our combination of therapeutic and recovery interventions helps the patient work through their mental health issues and teaches them coping skills without the use of alcohol or other substances.

Program features include:

  • Individualized case management
  • Medication management
  • Recreational and leisure therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Anger management group
  • Psychotherapy group

No matter what you are going through, we’ll create an individualized plan to help, give you the tools you’ll need and walk you through the entire process. Recovery is a lifelong journey, which is why we work with a variety of outpatient providers to connect patients with key aftercare services that help with vital post-treatment steps.
