Canyon Ridge Hospital offers three outpatient programs for adults, aimed at providing support and education in a positive environment.
Canyon Ridge Hospital’s “The Next Step” Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a short-term day treatment program for adults offered five days a week, six hours a day. This program is for patients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis who require intensive support and structure, but not 24-hour supervision. Dual diagnosis programs are available for adults with a secondary chemical dependency diagnosis. Adult PHP is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m.
Canyon Ridge Hospital’s Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is more intensive than traditional outpatient and is designed to achieve short-term stabilization and resolution of immediate problem areas. The patient and family are offered services by a team of professionals. Adult IOP is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Canyon Ridge Hospital offers an adult substance abuse intensive outpatient program for patients who need rehabilitation from alcohol or other substance abuse. This program is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The program includes education, an introduction to the 12-step model and aftercare options.
