Adult Outpatient Treatment

Canyon Ridge Hospital offers outpatient programs for adults, aimed at providing support and education in a positive environment.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Canyon Ridge Hospital’s “The Next Step” Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a short-term day treatment program for adults offered five days a week, six hours a day. This program is for patients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis who require intensive support and structure, but not 24-hour supervision. Dual diagnosis programs are available for adults with a secondary substance use disorder (SUD) diagnosis. Adult PHP is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Mental Health IOP

Canyon Ridge Hospital’s Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is more intensive than traditional outpatient and is designed to achieve short-term stabilization and resolution of immediate problem areas. The patient and family are offered services by a team of professionals. Adult IOP is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Evening Virtual IOP

With the time commitment required for Intensive Outpatient programming, it may be challenging to fit this group therapy into one’s schedule. To ensure adequate access to care, Canyon Ridge Hospital is now offering an Evening Virtual IOP track for individuals who are 18+ with full-time work or school obligations. This evening program is offered entirely online from 5:30 to 8:30 PM Monday through Friday, with additional access available 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday mornings.

Substance Use Disorder IOP

Canyon Ridge Hospital offers an adult substance use intensive outpatient program for patients who need rehabilitation from alcohol or other substance use. This program is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The program includes education, an introduction to the 12-step model and aftercare options.
