Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment at Canyon Ridge Hospital: Why Choose Us?

The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Canyon Ridge Hospital helps adults 18 and older recover from substance use disorders.

Our outpatient rehab program meets three to five days a week from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You and your providers figure out which days work best for you. You can attend the program in person or virtually. We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks if you attend in person.

When you’re dealing with a substance use disorder, we can help. Our staff is specially trained to help you recover from substance use disorder and mental health issues. You gain the skills you need to achieve lasting recovery.

You may step down to our SUD IOP after inpatient care. Or you may enter the program directly.

At Canyon Ridge Hospital, you’ll find:

  • Skilled care providers: Our staff includes therapists, psychiatrists, nurses and a patient coordinator. They specialize in addiction recovery and mental health disorders.
  • Group therapy sessions: Group therapy sessions form the basis of IOP. During the sessions, you share your experiences and listen to others share theirs. Supporting each other in group therapy is essential for addiction recovery.
  • Dual-diagnosis track: If you are dealing with mental health issues in addition to chemical dependency, you can receive treatment for both in our dual-diagnosis track.
  • Transportation: Transportation options may be available – please contact us to learn more.
  • Virtual programming: You may attend our substance use disorder IOP in person or virtually. Choose the format that works best for you.
